In keeping with our animals’ good health we decided to open “The Dog’s Deli” to allow others to bring their pets for a dining out treat - doggie style!
Owners really enjoy bringing their pets to dine on gourmet dogs biscuits in the deli, located in The Canine Castle, in Rossford, Ohio.
Monica opened her grooming business in 1999 to give pets a total grooming experience. As part of that total grooming experience, she thought that gourmet dog treats would add to the fun.

She had been baking her own pets gourmet dog treats at home. And since they really enjoyed them, she thought, “Why not share these dog biscuits with all our special pets at the shop?!?”
Larry became Monica’s “paw”-tner in crime in November, 2001. Previously, he had owned and operated “Dapper Dog” in Sylvania, Ohio, for 20 years. He saw the Dog’s Deli at The Canine Castle as a way to explore new ideas for pet-oriented fun.

The aromas from the dog treats in the air is enticing for the pets — as well as their masters — thanks to baker Andrea! Our dog bisuits are baked by her daily in our oven with all natural ingredients and have no preservatives. Each batch is hand measured, mixed and baked for high quality dog treats.
